Returning to that town after five years, burnt bread and laughter that came naturally. “A day when nothing happened” was quietly special. This is a record of that moment. In February of this year, I revisited Ladakh, which had been extremely cold, for the first time in five years. I will try to weave together the events of those days, tracing my memories and searching through the past once again.
